Easy Hot Chicken Salad

Ingredients

  • 4 cups diced cooked chicken

  • 2 cups chopped celery

  • 1 cup almonds, toasted

  • 1 cup mayonnaise

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 1 cup shredded American cheese

  • ¼ cup lemon juice or to taste

  • 2 tablespoons chopped onion

  • 2 cups crushed cornflakes cereal

Directions

  1. Gather the ingredients. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

  2. Combine chicken, celery, almonds, mayonnaise, sour cream, American cheese, lemon juice, and onion in a bowl; transfer to the prepared baking dish. Top with crushed corn flakes.

  3. Bake in the preheated oven until heated through, 45 to 60 minutes.
