Cinnamon Apple Syrup

Ingredients

  • 2 tart apples, peeled, cored, and sliced

  • ½ cup white sugar

  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

  • 2 tablespoons water

Directions

  1. Combine apples, sugar, cinnamon, and water in a saucepan; stir to dissolve sugar. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low; simmer until apples soft and syrup thickened, 10 minutes. Serve over pancakes or ice cream.
